Energy Conservation video...Messaging for Kids

1: Who do you think are the target audience of this clip?

A: Kids or children of young age.

2: What do you think are the main key messages that the clip is trying to communicate?

A: It is to tell kids about the CFL and Incandescent Bulbs, timers, motion sensors and many more, and to make the kids conserve energy by turning off anything that isn't being used and to change incandescent bulbs to CFL bulb.

3: Do you think the clip is effective? Why or why not?

A: Yes, and that is because the clip is informative and it is easy to understand, which is especially important if the target audience are kids.

4: How do you think the messaging/clip could be further improved?

A: Tell could ask kids and children into the clip and also show the improvement in the changing of the light bulbs and the timer/motion sensor in use.

1: What do you think are some of the limitations of using renewable energy resources, based on the clip that you have seen?

A: As the wind turbines are located near residential areas, the residents complain about the noises the wind turbines make and the strobe light effect that the spinning turbine makes.

2: What are some possible solutions that the video have suggested?

A: They can make the turbines on the wind turbines located near the residential areas smaller and bring the big ones further away from residential areas.

3: How do you think Energy Conservation messages can be communicated effectively in the school or local context? Give or suggest some examples.

A: We can put up posters around the hallways and corridors, we can also hold talks on the topic of that.
